Southeast Aerospace has continuous openings for experienced avionics technicians and entry level positions. General and Corporate aviation experience is preferred, but we will consider training others. We have immediate openings for line maintenance and installation personnel - (note: civil aviation experience strongly preferred).

Job Title:

Web Designer / Web Developer

Job Description:

Southeast Aerospace is seeking to expand our current web capabilities and is looking for a skilled and creative web developer who is enthusiastic about designing and building websites. This is an opportunity to become part of a small IT shop, less than 5 employees, in a stable and fast growing company. You will be making major contributions, in an industry leading company, using the latest tools and technologies.

Responsible for the ongoing design, development, management, and maintenance of corporate web, e-commerce, and intranet websites.

Collaborate with marketing department and software developers to design and implement desired websites and functionality by making them more user friendly, easy to understand, and visually appealing.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 year of professional web development experience developing websites for businesses.
  • Must be self-motivated and have strong problem solving skills.
  • Ability to grasp and understand sales and marketing concepts is a must.
  • Strong background with HTML, Javascript, and CSS
  • Must be highly proficient in the use of the Adobe Suite of publishing tools or similar software (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Flash, etc..)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Knowledge and Experience in the following is a plus but not required:

  • Experience using database back ends for web applications (Any RDBMS, but MySQL preferred)
  • Working knowledge of LAMP stack a plus (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP)
  • Actionscript
  • AJAX

Job Title:

Sales Business Development Representative

Job Description:

The Southeast Aerospace Sales Business Development Representative will facilitate growth in sales of new and reconditioned General Aviation and Commercial Air Transport avionics. The representative will help Southeast Aerospace grow and expand by reaching new customers, expanding sales to existing customers, and developing new business avenues.

This will include working as a team in conjunction with Sales, Marketing, Purchasing, Engineering, Repair, and Installation Departments within the company. An example of this includes helping to develop and implement new business strategies, conduct market analysis, gather data regarding Southeast Aerospace customers' markets, and develop and implement new and improved methods for marketing products through various new and traditional media.

Standard responsibilities also include: securing business by obtaining new clientele and maintaining current client base, executing marketing strategies such as trade shows, generating and submitting formal Quote Proposals, and overseeing all sales transactions from inception to delivery of the product or service.

Requirements:

Qualified candidates will possess proven business development and sales skills as demonstrated by a successful track record. This includes the proven ability to interact & communicate with key decision makers and open new accounts.

Avionics experience and knowledge required.

Job Title:

Avionics Bench Technician

Job Description:

Southeast Aerospace is interested in experienced avionics bench technicians dealing with General Aviation avionics.

Requirements:

Education: A degree in the Electronic related field is a plus.

The ability to troubleshoot to the component level is a must.

Units include: transponders, DME, weather radar, navigation, and communication.

Qualified Candidates should possess; basic hand tool knowledge, soldering skills, the ability to deal with flexible work assignments, attention to detail, and organizational skills, the ability to work in a fast paced environment.

Experienced Avionics Bench Technicians only, no Installation or A & P Technicians please.

Job Title:

Avionics Instrument Technician

Job Description:

The Avionics Instrument Technician will have a variety of tasks related to avionics instruments.

Requirements:

The ability to overhaul gyros is a must. The instrument units may include, but are not limited to those manufactured by Rockwell Collins and Honeywell. Experience repairing and overhauling Honeywell and Rockwell units is desired. Gyro units include: 332D11, VG14A, KI256, KG102A

Qualified Candidates should also possess; the ability to work with basic hand tools, deal with flexible work assignments, attention to detail, and organizational skills. The ability to work in a fast paced environment is required. OEM Training Certificates would be a plus.

Experienced Gyro Instrument Technicians only, no Installation or A & P Technicians please.

Helpful, but not required is FCC licensing, or Technical School Training
