Primus-440
FEATURES
  • Digital radar system designed for weather location and analysis
  • Consists of three units: WU-440 receiver/transmitter/antenna (RTA), WI-440 indicator, and optional WC-440 controller
  • Controller used in installations that do not include a dedicated indicator
  • 10 kw transmitter
  • 120 degree antenna scan
  • 200 nautical mile display range
  • No ground map mode
  • System can be used with either dedicated radar display or in conjunction with EFIS and Multi-Function display (MFD) equipment
  • Interfaces with Honeywell LSZ-850 and LSZ-860 Lightning Sensor System (LSS) via certain versions of WC-440 controller and WI-440 indicator that suppply both LSS controls and display
  • Will operate with display systems that use the ARINC 708/453 picture bus and several combinations of control sources (see table below)
  • WI-440 indicator can supply display for Honeywell DATA NAV equipment
  • Certain versions of WI-440 indicator able to display EGPWS (TAWS) terrain data
  • WU-440 RTA accepts 10 or 12 inch flat plate array (note: array included in installation kit)
  • WI-440 indicator available with gray or black bezel
  • WC-440 controller available with gray or black bezel
