SEA Receives 2014 AEA Avionics Training Excellence Award

Southeast Aerospace has received the Avionics Training Excellence Award from AEA for the year 2014. SEA has received this award for 11 consecutive years, beginning in 2004.

Mike Adamson, AEA Vice President of member programs and education, said, “AEA-certified repair station members are trained far beyond the federal requirements and demonstrate a commitment to training few other industries can match.”

According to the AEA guidelines to receive this award: all of the company’s technicians must have completed at least one AEA-approved training event in the previous year, which includes the AEA International Convention & Trade Show; AEA Regional Meetings; Avionics News magazine technical training exam; AEA computer-based training; original equipment manufacturer (OEM) training from AEA associate member companies; and AEA partnership training.
