Intended for installation on long-range executive jet and turbo-prop aircraft capable of operating in Europe, Asia and South America where VHF communication is available over a much wider band. Only 8.25" high, yet provides good performance without the added drag of taller blade communication antennas. The CI-211-16 is identical to the CI-211-1 except it also includes one internal mounting hole forward and one internal mounting hole aft on the antenna centerline as shown in outline drawing. The CI-211-16 has been re-tested and upgraded to the new RTCA DO-160D environmental requirements. Electrical :
