Yes, the -01 version of the supersedes the -00 version and will replace it directly if the KAS-297B will be interfaced to the KEA-346 altimeter. If the KAS-297B -01 is used with another altimeter, then going from the -00 to the -01 would require Pin 28 (ALT valid) to be grounded.
