As of March 1, 2012, all aircraft with a maximum take-off mass of 5700 kg (12,500 lbs.) or authorized to carry more than 19 passengers operating in European airspace are required to have TCAS II Version 7.1. ICAO Annex 10 requires Version 7.1 software on new aircraft by January 1, 2014, and for existing aircraft by January 1, 2017.
