Yes, the FD932DVD-LP-2-AV is a direct replacement; however it is not a plug and play replacement. It is ONLY plug and play if the existing DVD player was NOT using the AUX INPUT, and if the yellow and red power wires are BOTH hooked up to power.

Troubleshooting a direct replacement using the FD932DVD-LP-2-AV:

• Both wires on the existing molex power connector need to be connected (even though the manual for the new unit states that they are internally connected in the DVD player).
• If you use the AUX INPUT on the new 9-pin dsub connector (the -4B had an RCA jack), you must also run power through the dsub (not the molex) or the aux inputs will not work.
