The GI-275 requires GPS for attitude aiding. The GI-275 contains an internal VFR GPS receiver that can be connected to a GPS antenna mounted on the glareshield or it can receive input from an external GPS. As per the STC, the GI-275 can receive GPS data for aiding by the following methods/models:
