Southeast Aerospace offers a cost-effective, flexible ADS-B solution for business aviation.
The Part 25 AML STC (ST00835DE) supports non-TCAS II aircraft and was validated on a Cessna Citation III. It enables ADS-B In on compatible Garmin displays or portable devices (additional approvals may apply), with typical installed pricing under $50,000 through Garmin dealers.
The system uses dual Garmin GTX-3X5R units and a Gables G7534-100X, replacing the existing transponder controller for full system integration. The STC requires the installation of an ADS-B fail annunciation. The positioning requirements of AC-20-165B are supported by the GTX-3X5R’s internal GPS or a panel-mounted Garmin GNS/GTN unit.
Southeast Aerospace (SEA) offers a flexible ADS-B solution for legacy Part 29 helicopters.
The system combines a Gables G7614 control head with a remote or panel-mounted Garmin GTX-3X5R / Garmin GTX-3X5, including STC data and RTU. Remote mounting simplifies installation for aircraft with existing XPDR controllers installed. Weather and traffic can be viewed on existing displays or portable devices.
The GTX series delivers 1090ES out, dual "in" (978/1090) receive capabilities, Bluetooth connectivity, and an optional internal GPS to avoid upgrading existing systems.
Extended Part 29 AML STC SR00925DE is available through Southeast Aerospace and authorized Garmin dealers.
