  • It is a battery operated heterodyne type receiver tunable over the ultrasonic frequency range of 30 to 45 kHz
  • Utilizing the internal microphone and loudspeaker, the test set can perform an operational test on a beacon without removing the beacon from its mount on the aircraft
  • Single hand operation

  • Can be used while beacon is still mounted to the airframe or to the aircraft's flight recorder
  • Performs required operational tests for DK100, DK120, DK130 and DK140 beacons as well as other beacons in the 30-45 kHz range
