Southeast Aerospace Achieves CMMC Level 2 Certification

Southeast Aerospace (SEA) is proud to announce that it has successfully achieved Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Level 2 in accordance with the security requirements of NIST Special Publication (SP) 800-171.

The certification demonstrates Southeast Aerospace's commitment to protecting Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and maintaining the highest standards of cybersecurity for customers supporting the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), government agencies, and the aerospace industry.

As cybersecurity threats continue to evolve, the Department of Defense established the CMMC program to strengthen the security of the Defense Industrial Base (DIB). CMMC Level 2 requires organizations to implement and maintain the 110 security controls defined in NIST SP 800-171 and successfully complete an indepen dent assessment verifying compliance.
