Marketing Director

JOB DESCRIPTION & REQUIREMENTS:
The Marketing Director will play a key strategic and hands-on role in overseeing all marketing functions. This includes planning and executing marketing campaigns, coordinating tradeshows and events, developing engaging marketing materials, managing digital presence, and crafting effective communications. This role reports directly to executive leadership and collaborates closely with sales and business development teams.

Compensation:
Depends on relevant experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Tradeshow Planning & Coordination:
    Plan, organize, and manage company participation in tradeshows and industry events—including booth logistics, promotional materials, staffing coordination, and post-show follow-up.
  • Graphic Design & Marketing Materials:
    Oversee the design and development of marketing collateral including brochures, product sheets, advertisements, and digital assets that support branding and sales efforts.
  • Press Releases & Media Relations:
    Write, distribute, and manage press releases and media outreach. Maintain relationships with aviation trade publications and industry journalists.
  • Social Media & Web Presence:
    Maintain and grow the company’s presence across social media platforms and ensure content is aligned with brand voice and marketing strategy. Collaborate on website updates and SEO efforts.
  • General Marketing Duties:
    Support overall branding, messaging, and internal communications efforts. Monitor marketing performance, analytics, and budget. Ensure brand consistency across all channels.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
  • 5+ years of progressive marketing experience, including leadership roles
  • Strong skills in graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with CRM and marketing automation tools
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for tradeshows and events
  • Computer skills including familiarity with Windows based software and other organizational tools
  • Acceptable background check for required matters
  • US Persons as defined in 22CFR 120.15 for required matters
  • Preferred:
    Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services within the aviation industry. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Working conditions for this position will usually consist of an office environment
  • Normal business week schedule of Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm, but may be required to work some evenings and weekends to monitor company activities.
