Cessna T206H Florida Highway Patrol Modification

SEA modified two Cessna T206H aircraft for the Florida Highway Patrol to provide an Aerial Thermal Imaging Camera and Augmented Reality System (ARS) Mapping System solution.

The modification included the installation of a Wescam MX-10 EO/IR sensor on the left wing. A custom operator console was designed, fabricated and installed to accommodate a Churchill Navigation ARS-700, Ion DVR and ARS Keyboard as well as dual Avalex LCD monitors, Flightcell DZMx, MX-10 Hand Controller, Laser Arming Panel and existing TDFM radio. The console was designed to allow the right monitor and keyboard to stow during takeoff and landing to ensure unimpeded egress from the aircraft and a clear head strike zone to ensure the safety of the operator.
